Known for his speed and with over 100 appearances for the Islanders, Stevie is delighted to have Connor back this season “Big year for Stokesy this year as he will again be playing Phantoms when he can. One of the fastest players in the league and can score goals. He scored some big goals for us last year and the Islanders will be looking for him to be a main player again this season." Stokes also commented on his return, “I had a lot of fun playing hockey last season, so when we lost in the finals of the cup and playoffs it didn't sit to well with me considering the season we had was one of the best in previous years. I'm looking forward to what this season has to offer, with the main bulk of the guys coming back I would like to see ourselves in the running for some silverware again.“
